Congratulations to the recipients of the first found of IBIN funding. We had some great applications – 5 pump-prime projects, a sabbatical and a short trip.

 

The successful pump prime projects are:

Developing measurement and analysis tools to correct for optical inhomogeneity in thick samples in high-precision light microscopy

The successful sabbatical application is:

Dr Pat Caswell and Dr Joseph Hetmenski from the University of Manchester will be travelling to the University of Strathclyde, hosted by Dr Brian Patton and Dr Graeme Johnstone

 

The successful short trip application is:

Dr Steve Thomas will be travelling from the University of Birmingham to be hosted at King’s College London by Dr Davide Danovi

 

 

Our next IBIN meeting will be on the 18th June 2019. If you are interested in applying for the next round of IBIN funding then we strongly recommend that you attend the meeting. It will be a great opportunity to create collaborations and find out more about IBIN.
